Wishing Upon a Star: Celebrating Tanabata at ATLAS!🌌

Today, we celebrated Tanabata (the Star Festival) by bringing a beautiful tradition to life in our classroom!
Before writing anything down, we gathered together to discuss the history and meaning behind Tanabata. We then had a great conversation about our hopes and dreams, thinking about what we wish we could do or have in the future.

Once our ideas were ready, everyone wrote their special wishes on colorful strips of paper and carefully hung them from our bamboo tree. The tree is now filled with so much hope and bright color—here’s to hoping all of our students' wishes come true! 🎋✨
