Color Theory 🎨

at ATLAS in Gotanda, the students are studying color theory in their major subject study art class. They are looking how colors interact and blend together as well as affect emotion. They have been going in depth and far beyond the normal basic colors and discovering the different gradients that they can create on their own.

The students used paint and created different blends and gradients by mixing the colors together a little at a time. They made a color chart to show off the various colors that they came up with.

They had fun to how many shades of each color they were able to come up with using a set of colors. Everyone talked about how each color made them feel the darker they got and the lighter they became.

They enjoyed painting their charts. It helped to see each gradual difference with each color next to each other. We are looking forward to what else colors affect!
