Pie Art

For our art project for the past two weeks, we made pie art in spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday this November!

The students created different layers of their pie, and each with a different color palate.

They made the filling first thinking about the type of pie that they wanted to make. For instance, like a pumpkin pie, apple pie, etc.

After, they painted the pie crust by making brown by mixing different colored paint to help make more details in their crust.

Once the paint dried, they glued the pie filling and the pie crust on top of each other to give it a layered effect. They cut the cirlce to and colored on the pe crust with crayons to give it a toasted appearance.

They then glued on their pies to the pot and the mat that they designed themselves.
