Akikawa River
For our field trip, we went to Akikawa River to enjoy spending time outside during the summer!
The students were excited to get a chance to swim and play in the water together.
We traveled there by a coach bus. On the way, we played quiz games that focused on topics like countries, food, flags, and animals. They had fun answering the questions and getting points for their correct answers.
Once we reached the river, everyone jumped in the river and had a great time.

They enjoyed skipping rocks, cannonballing into the deep spot of the river, snacking on salted grilled potatoes, and catching and eating grilled fish. Everyone really liked the grilled salted potatoes. They were something that all of the students could have eaten a whole meal of!

Some students got to experience catching the fish by hand. They really had a great time eating what they caught.

After swimming for awhile, we all sat riverside and ate lunch together, talking about about various things and having a good time.
After eating, the students were able to swim for another 45 minutes or so and play around the river.
On the way back, we played another set of quiz games, talked about interestes, and shared stories with each other.
All in all, everyone had a great time and we can not wait to make more memories together.
