Atlas Major Subject – Science
Our planet is constantly changing and all forms of life are affected by many changes to their biomes. One of the extreme outcomes can be drought.
Drought is when there is less precipitation in an area over a period of time and can lead to issues such as famine, increased spread of disease and a lack of drinkable water.
On the Atlas program, we look at natural disasters and research how we can work towards a deeper understanding of how human impact can make a more meaningful contribution to dealing with such issues.
