Clay Jars!

Today in Atlas, the students made clay jars in Ben’s Art Class!

Making a jar out of clay is a pretty difficult task to do. They can morph and fall apart with their own weight. Ben’s jar on the right looks like it’s barely holding on.

The students actually did a really good job despite the difficulty! One was even able to paint theirs before the end of class!

This is a longer project, so the students will keep working on it tomorrow. I look forward to seeing the end result!
