ATLAS Art – 8/28

Today for art the students worked on a short and simple, yet creative art project. They worked on this project during their standard Monday 3rd class art time. The art is called Japonesque Art.

The project involved having the students work using water paints and thin Japanese-style paper. They folded this paper and made different patterns by dipping the paper in the paints. They then unfolded the paper to reveal the patterns created.

The patterns created make pretty stunning-looking artwork. The students also had a lot of fun and even loved making more.
