How far can it fly?
In major subject science, the students have been working on a project looking at aerodynamics.
First, they learned about the forces that affect a plane and then practiced making 4 different planes to test.

They then used their skills to design their own plane.

They flew their airplanes and recorded the distance.

They also built cardboard paper plane launchers.
The students completed their tables of results for the paper plane experiment. Then they created bar charts to communicate their results.

Then they wrote an introduction and method for the experiment.
It was a great opportunity for students to put theory into practice.
