Planting Crops at Shimotakaido
For our field trip at ATLAS International School in Gotanda, we went to our farm near Shimotakaido to plant crops.
The students have learned about compost a couple of months ago. They learned about how it`s made, the benefits it brings, and how to use it effectively.
Everyone has been bringing in things to make our own compost at ATLAS. The students have added to it for the past couple of months.
This week, we took the compost to our farm near our Shimotakaido School. There, they used it and planted some crops to be used in the future after they fully grow and are ready to be harvested.

The students enjoyed learning about the process and having a hands-on activity to see their work be put into action.

We will be visiting the farm again in the future to see our progress on how well the crops have grown.
Everyone is looking forward to that moment where we can see the benefits of all of our hard work become a success.
