Young Explorers at Work: Sketching Goshawks and Forest Wonders

The star of the day was the majestic northern goshawk. To make their artwork come alive, students used special charcoal pencils and learned how to smudge the edges to create a realistic 3D effect.

Working from detailed visual references, students paid close attention to the finest details, carefully drawing everything from its sharp talons and swift wings to the subtle textures of its feathers. But their artistic exploration didn't stop there..our young artists also sketched vibrant forest plants and delicate flowers to complete their natural scenes.
