Sedimentary Rocks! (5/29/23)

Today in Zach’s Major Study Science class, the students learned about sedimentary rocks and how they are formed!
今日のザック先生の専門科目の理科の授業では、生徒たちは堆積岩とその形成について学びました！

After studying how sedimentary rocks are made, the students made their own! They first created balls by applying pressure to a combination of different playdough colors.
堆積岩がどのように形成されるかを学んだ後、生徒たちは自分自身で堆積岩を作りました！まず、異なるねんどの色を組み合わせて圧力をかけてボールを作りました。

Then they cut through the playdough to see what it looked like on the inside!
ねんどを切って中身を見てみました！

This was a very enjoyable activity that allowed students to get a very educational hands-on experience of how our planet forms these really amazing-looking rocks!
これはとても楽しい活動であり、生徒たちが手を動かして地球がこれらの見た目に驚くほど素晴らしい岩を形成するプロセスを学ぶことができる、とても教育的な体験でした！
