Under the Sea with a Ukulele! (5/30/23)

Today in my Major Studies Music class, the students worked together to practice playing “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid on the ukulele!
今日は私の専門科目の音楽の授業で、生徒たちは一緒に『リトル・マーメイド』の「アンダー・ザ・シー」をウクレレで演奏する練習をしました！

The song has four chords, the C chord, the F chord, the A minor chord, and the G chord. The students not only have to learn the finger positions to play these chords, but also the sequence and timing that these chords are played! They also have to learn the strum pattern as well, all of which is a lot of work!
この曲にはCコード、Fコード、Aマイナーコード、Gコードの4つのコードがあります。生徒たちはこれらのコードの指の位置を覚えるだけでなく、コードの演奏順序とタイミングも学ばなければなりません！また、ストラムのパターンも学ばなければならず、それらはすべて多くの作業です！

The more experienced students help the newer students, and they all learn at their own pace. Whenever it’s practice time, the noise is pretty chaotic, but when they’re playing together, it sounds great!
経験のある生徒たちは新しい生徒たちを手助けし、皆自分のペースで学んでいます。練習の時間にはかなりの騒音がありますが、一緒に演奏すると素晴らしい音が出ます！
