Atlas Tachikawa School - April Week 3 Blog

Atlas International School Tachikawa Blog

Greetings and welcome back everyone to our blog about Atlas International School! Today, we will discuss what we did this week at our Tachikawa location.

Earth Day Art Project!🌎

This year, Earth Day will be celebrated on the 22nd of April! We decided to spruce up our school and make it more festive by painting some paper lanterns in the pattern of a globe and hanging them up around the school. Take a look at these cool decorations!

Science: Fun with Magnets! 🧲

Students learned about attraction and repelling with magnets. We even did some fun races using magnet cars! Check out our Instagram page to see some cool videos of how we did it!

Class Project: Mural Art 🍎

We also started a large scale project which will be a mural-sized apple. Once it is complete, we will display it for everyone to see! We just started a big apple, but we will also do another more abstract art once this project is finished. Can you see the apple begin to take shape?

Daily Classes

Atlas classes have so much fun and unique projects to do, but we also ensure every student gets as much English practice as possible through subjects such as practical/spoken English class, math class, and much much more. Take a look below to see a sneak peak at phonics activities that we do daily to ensure confident students.
