Tachikawa ATLAS Marche Event 2026

Hello again and welcome back to the Tachikawa ATLAS blog.

This past week has been eventful, as we held the Marche 2026 event with the students and their guardians.

First, we held an open floor exhibition of the students' artworks.

The parents and family of the students were able to see firsthand what our students have been up to all semester. At the same time, the students acted as guides and explained what each item was.

Next, we held speeches for the students' favourite art. The following art was presented by the students:

Starry Nights by Vincent Van Gogh

Aurora Art

Bookmarks

Bag Art

The students did an excellent job! Their hard work and practice was rewarded with fantastic performances.

After the speeches, we enjoyed a serving of the apple cider which we created at the beginning of September. The scent of cinnamon filled the air and the soothing apple flavour was a big hit with the crowd!

Finally, the students held the Marche market event. The students sold the items that they created and also handled all of the transactions by themselves. Overall, we have raised nearly \7,000! The money will be put to good use; a portion of the fund will be donated to the Kumamoto Disaster Relief Fund, while a portion will be kept to be used for the students in celebration of their hard work.

We had a blast and all of the hardwork of the students have brought about a fantastic event! We hope that the next one will be just as exciting!

Thanks for reading and tune in again next time to see what activities await the students this Halloween season!
